PRACTICE DIRECTION No 6 of 2000

Estimates of time

 

  1. It is important for the efficient operation of the tribunal that accurate estimates of time for hearing be provided by lawyers and parties, at all appropriate times during the course of proceedings.

  2. Lawyers and parties will be required to give accurate estimates of time for the hearing of any proceeding before the tribunal.

  3. Unless the tribunal otherwise orders, if the hearing of a proceeding exceeds the estimate of time given, the tribunal will adjourn the matter.
