| Important notices to respondent |
Subject to any direction by the tribunal, you must file your response with the tribunal and
serve it upon the applicant within 14 days of the service upon you of the application. If a
response is not filed with the tribunal, the proceedings may be dealt with in the absence of the
respondent.
Failure to file a response does not affect a respondent’s right to be heard on the
hearing of the application. If you wish to oppose this application or to argue that any different
order should be made, you must appear or attend by teleconference (as specified above) before the
tribunal in person or by lawyer or agent and you will be heard. If you do not appear at the hearing,
the orders may be made without further notice to you. You should attend in person or by telephone
(as specified above) at the time and date set for any hearing, even if this is before the time for
filing your response. |
